Mr. Oudet: President of Lao Hotel & Restaurant Association; also Director of Tai-Pan Hotel & Café Indochine Restaurant, Vientiane. Entrepreneur, Mr. Oudet holds Directorship in several SME’s, he is also Board member of several international governing business bodies. Mr. Oudet travels extensively to promote Tourism and Hospitality for Lao, PDR.

Mr. Nobuyuki Fukuda, Vice President and Treasurer, is also General Manager of Lao Plaza Hotel. A graduate from the International College of Tourism-Japan, he has held various executive positions in international hotels, such as Ramada, Hilton International and Evergreen. He is a Japanese national, and has been with Lao Plaza Hotel since 1999.

Mrs. Nuankeo Thiraphout, Vice President, is in charge of the Administration of the Association. She is Director of Villa Lakeo Guesthouse. Mrs. Nounkeo was a doctor at the Friendship Hospital. In 1998, Mrs. Nounkeo decided to venture into the hospitality industry and set up Lakeo Guesthouse

Mr. Thong souvanna, Board Member, is Secretary General of LHRA. He is Director of Villa Sisavad Guesthouse. Mr. Thong Souvanna is a Lao national with French citizenship who spent more than 20 years in France. He graduated with a telecommunications degree in Paris and was one of the founders of OST telecom in France. In 1994, Mr. Thong decided to return to Laos and foreseeing the growth of tourism in Laos, decided to set up a guesthouse, - The Villa Sisavad. Mr. Thong is also involved in community work through the Dokchampa Association that deals with social welfare and public health issues

Mr. Eric Howe, a Singaporean, is Board Member in charge of the Marketing activities of the Association and currently General Manager of a luxury Boutique Hotel in Vientiane; Settha Palace Hotel. Mr. Howe has been in the industry for over two decades with several overseas postings at senior management level.

Mr. Xayavouth Southakakoumal, Board Member, takes charge of Human Resource Development. He is Director of Nadao Restaurant, renown for its French cuisine In Vientiane.

Mr. Christopher Yeo, a Singaporean, as Board Member is responsible for Advocacy and Consulting. He is also General Manager of the only international hotel property in Vientiane; Novotel Hotel. Mr. Yeo has been stationed in Vientiane for than a decade
